We work with HMPs across the United Kingdom to deliver bespoke career support services aimed at creating more opportunities for those in custody and ex-offenders, to help minimise and prevent re-offending.
As part of our work, we train peers in custody to work as career coaches and also provide research support to assist peers with career planning and business start-ups.
We seek to help people with criminal records to obtain appropriate jobs or self-employment by providing them with the support and skills they need in the labour market and by working with employers to break down the barriers to their employment and build a more positive future.
- Future Careers are committed to creating change
- We aim to reduce re-offending by helping our clients change their outlooks on life, attitude, thinking and behaviour through intensive mentoring, advice advocacy and targeted support
